Meet Christy Hedrick, Founder

Barbershop Bookings is the brainchild of Christy Hedrick, a passionate and dedicated performer who has been singing barbershop music since 2012. A key member of the Alaska Sound Celebration chorus, Christy has taken on roles such as bass co-section leader, fundraising coordinator, events coordinator, marketing coordinator, and music team administrator. Her joy and experience in managing guest quartets and coaches inspired her to launch Barbershop Bookings.

In addition to her work with Alaska Sound Celebration, Christy is the bass of Rewind Quartet with Sweet Adelines International (SAI) and Triple Trouble Quartet with Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS), where she continues to share her love of barbershop music and connect with other performers.

Beyond barbershop, Christy has a strong background in project management, with a wealth of experience spanning across the construction and telecommunications industries since 2007. Her ability to balance creative leadership with practical, strategic planning makes her an invaluable asset both on and off the stage.
